Treating the Whole Person, From the Root
Chinese medicine emphasizes treating the patient rather than the disease.
Because each patient is unique, treatment is highly personalized.
The goal is not to cover up your symptoms, but to seek out and treat the root cause.
INTEGRATIVE ORTHOPEDIC ACUPUNCTURE
Orthopedic acupuncture combines traditional theory with a modern understanding of anatomy, and leads to precise and very effective treatment of musculoskeletal pain (including sports and orthopedic injuries, physical trauma, repetitive stress syndromes, chronic pain, etc.).
Having seen how beneficial Orthopedic Acupuncture is in the treatment of pain conditions, Phil has dedicated the past few years to studying it with some of the most renowned teachers in the US.
CLASSICAL CHINESE HERBALISM
Customized herbal prescriptions are particularly well-suited for treating chronic or complex conditions, such as autoimmune disorders, circulatory disorders, digestive disorders, neurological disorders, etc.
Herbal medicine is Phil's passion. Phil has studied with a number of the top Classical herbalism teachers in the US and in China, and teaches at both the Master's and Doctorate levels.
FEEDBACK WE’VE RECEIVED
The moment you meet Phil, you'll notice his gentle, caring and warm nature immediately. I see Phil weekly at his clinic and have been doing so for over a year. He's helped me through various ailments: insomnia, jaw pain, SI joint problems, dizziness and more. It's clear how passionate he is about Chinese medicine, how dedicated he is to learn more skill sets as a practitioner, and how lucky patients are to have him as their acupuncturist. He is a pro in treating pain and sports injuries.
